Artist's Comments

I don't have any idea how I made this look like this. Originally, it was just a dark red gerbera. The red came out too bright on the original picture, so I was playing about with something on paintshop pro (Photoshop is on the PC back in Hastings, not here) to make it darker, and I managed to do this. I like it :D It might have looked better with water drops too, though...

well, you asked a nicely balanced one, so i'll try to give one;)

i really like the amount of details in this shot, i can look at it for minutes and still find something new^^
the framing is also one of the plus-points, it is an original way of putting a flower to it's beauty!:)
but the diamonds or something that you've put on this flower...they just don't fit for me, there's just a little too much;)
and also the colours are a little bit too dark for a flower, but still, a very nice capture!:)

i'm faving this one;)

thank you for faving, and thank you for the criticism :D I appreciate the good points and to be honest I also agree with the negatives. I am unsure about the diamonds, I think it's the colour and diamond thing combination, but I think they are both unique even if it is in a small way. It's all unique as far as the rest of my gallery is concerned :P

Thank you again for the criticism, I appreciate it :D

The colors look nice and give this futuristic feel. I think It would have looked better without the "jewelery", I don't think they belong there, especially because they look more like white spots.

it is a very unusual way of putting the two together, but as in the point of contrast, then it's a very good one, because of the hardness of a diamond perfectly fits as a contrast for the soft and gentle flower:)
and i try to give an honest opinion:), i'm glad you can handle it though^^

you're very welcome!:)
and always welcome for another criticism or in my gallery;)
